The city of Huittinen has invested in its street and area lighting with Greenled's energy-efficient LED solutions. Thanks to this collaboration, electricity consumption has significantly decreased, and the lighting solutions support sustainable development goals. Highlights from a Long Partnership

During the extended collaboration, lighting fixtures have been replaced in many locations in Huittinen, with Korkeakoskentie, also known as Elyn Road, completed in 2024. Additionally, the lighting in the Kännönvuori recreational area was updated in 2021. In Kännönvuori, energy-efficient solutions have been implemented, such as dimming functions and motion sensors that adjust the lighting based on need.Comparisons between areas with LED lights and those with traditional mercury and high-pressure sodium lamps have shown that electricity consumption has dropped to a third in the LED-lit areas. This example demonstrates how modern LED solutions can provide both cost savings and environmental benefits.
