Greenled Spectre – Eco-Friendly Lighting

Greenled Spectre filters out over 99% of blue light.

  • Standard LED lighting is energy-efficient but harmful to nocturnal wildlife

    The blue light from current streetlights makes the night sky artificially bright. Blue light attracts insects and disrupts animal behavior.

  • Greenled Spectre – same power, different spectrum

    The Greenled Spectre lens blocks more than 99% of blue light. In other words, it doesn't filter the light – it converts the blue wavelength. Its energy efficiency is the same as that of a standard LED, and installation is just as easy as before.

A standard streetlight illuminates the night sky more than 20 times as much as the Greenled Spectre.

When you replace conventional LED lighting with Spectre, what changes?

  • Less than 1% blue light (about 18% in a standard LED)
  • The light pollution, or sky glow, index drops from ~5,730 to ~250

70% additional savings without a separate system

A sensor integrated into the light fixture monitors the ambient light level and automatically reduces the output at night without the need for a separate control system. Especially in winter, snow reflects light many times over, allowing the light output to be safely reduced. This can result in savings of up to 70% compared to the Spectrum’s already efficient baseline power consumption.
