Lighting Upgrade at the Nordics' Largest Indoor Sports Facility Delivered Major Energy Savings and Improved Light Levels

Exercising and motion sensors

The purpose of the all-inclusive lighting change of this sports hall was to increase the light level, and produce savings in energy. The property’s T5 fluorescent tube luminaires and metal-halide lamps at the end of their lifespan were replaced with Greenled Omega and Sigma luminaires. Lighting control system of the fields was executed with motion sensors. The energy savings of the sports hall have reached approximately 65%, regardless the increased amount of light.
